We bought an ATV from JR in 2021. We’ve now put over 300 hours on it with no problems. The ATV does more than we thought it would. We’ve harrowed pastures, hauled loaded trailers, traveled off road, and generally used it to get around our 10 acres in snow, mud, water, etc. Easy to use, starts every time, easy to maintain. I have to take a moment to say THANK YOU! I have been looking for rear wheels for my two NST DB200 Enduros for nearly nine months. I live near Salt Lake City, UT. I have talked to people all over the country from Florida to California to Washington. Most said they could not help me. A handful tried but were never able to deliver. Some even tried China. I even contacted the manufacturer. First they sent me the wrong wheel and then they told me they could not help me. I was pretty to surprised to hear that the manufacturer could not even help me.

JR, you have been the only person on this planet to help me. What makes it even better is the quality of the wheels. The spokes are a heavier gauge and the hub is a higher quality metal.

Thanks for coming through for me when no one else on the planet was able to help. You were great to work with. Your expertise with the DB200 really put me at ease. I thought I had made the biggest mistake in my life. You made me happy with my motorcycles again. I would recommend you to anyone.

I’ve been a mechanic for 40 years, and I know most engines have characteristics that make each one unique, and some can even be difficult. The Rocketa 110cc Go-Kart I worked on wasn’t starting, so I called JR for advice. He ran down all the usual troubleshooting, and then came up with just a small comment about the air filter needing to be attached in order to start the engine. I attached the air filter, and it started! JR saved me a lot of self-doubt and wasted time with his expert knowledge of these engines. Thanks, JR!

I went to JR with all kinds of issues with my Roketa atv-64 Sport 300cc that I purchased used from someone and never even got a chance to ride it in good condition. I had issues with the starter the rear shock was blown and it was falling apart and everything on it was loose. After looking at the atv for me JR assured me it would work like a totally different machine after he was done with it. After finding all the parts for the ATV at a very fair price JR asked me to bring it in. He fixed everything for me and I got the atv back the next day! I have tested my atv it just around the neighborhood and so far it DOES ride like a totally different machine. I plan
on taking it out this weekend and tearing it up I am confidant I wont have any more problems…. This IS THE MAN TO GO TO FOR FOR ALL YOUR OUTDOOR TOYS! I AM IMPRESSED!

My 150cc MC-04 Roketa scooter arrived in excellent condition and was packed so well that it took me two hours to remove all the bolts and nuts to move the scooter off the wooden skid. After removal, I saw it was more beautiful and complete than I had anticipated. The neighbors and my wife stated its appearance is beautiful, racy, futuristic and sexy. I agree. It would have helped,though, to have instructions on how to mount the trunk box. The rear view mirrors were relatively easy to mount. Now, I still need to add the battery and gas to ride, but I’ll bet all the neighbors will be envious of this seventy-four-year-olds mode of transportation! Thanks JR for your support. Bob Hulse

I had been trying to obtain a speedometer cable for my Motobravo Paparazzi 150cc scooter through my repair shop for months. After trying many web sites I found Thrifty Scooters and got excellent service at a good price. My cable was delivered over an extended weekend, and I’m back to riding. Thanks for your prompt and gracious help.

Got the bike on Friday. It arrived in perfect shape, the metal frame inthe box took a hit, but in a good place where it could not have hit thecontents. The only damage I noticed was that the front axle bolt wasslightly bent, which I noticed only when turning it, but it didn’t seemto affect installation fit or performance so I didn’t worry about it. Anyway, bottom line, the bike is awesome! I followed all instructions andcarefully put it all together over two days including tightening/checkingall bolts, using loctite including on the front axle and lower suspensionlinks, changing the oil, oiling the air filter and adjusting/testing allcables and electrics. Fired it up yesterday and put 13 slow and carefulbreak in miles on it riding it around the self storage facility. It ridesbeautifully and has great power, sound feel etc. I’m not sure how long itwill last but right now it feels and rides to me just a like a Honda. Infact, I have to say I’m generally quite impressed with the quality of themost of components. The only exceptions are the gas cap and the headlightwhich appear a little crude, but no complaints. One additional thing, Inoticed some websites had a line in the specs for remote start/remotealarm and all listings I saw said “no”, but guess what, this one hasboth, including two key fobs with lock/unlock, start, and alarm and theyall work great! You should probably include that in your listings, if you can rely on it. On a side note: the box had a correct color picture ofthe bike, but listed the “ITEM NO.” as “RDZ-200-BLACK AND WHITE (DB-07H).On the web the RDZ appears to be a dirt only bike, so once again it seemslike the Chinese are still working on model designations but in this caseit all turned out well. Overall I’m very satisfied, thought you shouldknow. Thx, JTW

I got the KMD 250cc ATV from JR, and I LOVE IT! We looked and looked for an ATV, and by far Thrifty Scooters had the best deals! JR made the whole experience pleasant. He got back to all my questions within hours of me sending them, if not sooner.

Once the ATV was delivered to my house, it took a little work to get it out of the crate it was shipped in, which was packed well, so nothing was damaged. Then we had to attached the tires, and a few other things, put gas in it, and it started right up.

The only complaint I have is there is no assembly instructions that explains where everyhing goes (nuts and bolts, etc), and that the owners manual is a little outdated. But we had no problems getting it together. It just took a little brain power to figure it out.

Other than that, we had a great experience dealing with JR and Thrifty Scooters! We feel like we got a GREAT ATV for a GREAT DEAL!

I purchased an instrument cluster from Thrifty Scooters for my Motobravo Paparazzi 150 to replace the original. Installed it and found the speedometer/odometer didn’t work. Emailed JR to return the new unit. However, JR suggested I make some tests first before I went to the expense of returning the unit.

Ran the tests and everything looked good. Further emails with JR got me thinking and I discovered the speedometer was only sluggish. After working with it, it improved to the point of providing accurate readings.

JR saved me a lot of time and expense. He was unusually responsive and helpful. In my experience this kind of help and service is very unusual. I will certainly buy all of my needed parts from Thrifty Scooter.

JR is extremely knowledgeable about scooters, and he uses his knowledge in the very best way: to help the customer without price-gouging. He showed me how to fix my own scooter (who does that?) and had the best price on the part I needed (I checked around). My brother in law took his scooter somewhere else for repair and is broke now. Buying a scooter over the internet is a little scary. JR gave me all of the right information and made the buying process easy. My scooter arrived within a week of the order date. Received the scooter in record time, paperwork arrived soon after the scooter. This was a smooth transation. The scooter arrived in great shape, shipped on the 13th and arrived at my house the 16th. The handle bars, mirrors, battery, and footboards where all that needed to be installed. I charged the battery while changing the oil and it started up with no problems. Everything works great. I gotta tell you I did not believe it when I removed the cover containing “Baby” that’s what I call her now. The pictures on line do not really show off Baby’s curves and sleek lines.

Easy assembly to get her ready for the road. While putting on her finishing touches people stopped by asking many questions. My friend, a Harley rider, eyed Baby and said I can’t believe got got that much motorcycle at such a great price. Baby and I will hit the road soon and I know that eyes will pop as we go by.

I needed some parts for my JL250P. The seller I originally purchased the bike from no longer sells them. After some searching, I found Thrifty Scooters. They were able to order the parts I needed, shipped them promptly. I’m very happy. I will definitely do business with them in the future.

I have to admit, I was very wary of ordering something so large blindly on line, BUT I’m very pleased with what I received! We ordered 3 110cc’s and a 125cc, they came in less then a week, the 110’s were very easy to put together and took more time to get out of the metal packing frame then anything else, the 125cc took slightly more time to assemble, only because the shocks were not bolted and it was slightly larger to move around, It took about three hours for four atv’s, including taking them out of the packing. They look great, we charged the batteries and had a minor problem getting them all started, turns out gas wasn’t getting to the carb, JR was helpful in returning phone calls and walking us through some trouble shooting to get them to work, when my husband got home he quickly had them going and off the kids went! We will be ordering again!!!!
